Bruce Mactaggart

Original Idea

Bruce has been involved in many major entertainment and cultural projects as diverse as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, and the World Police and Fire Games through to staging theatrical productions and managing bands such as the legendary ‘Pyramid’! He’s also well known for his work in the world of marketing, having garnered many awards including two for major event marketing. Bruce started his career in venue management at the world-famous Melbourne Park in Australia before going to New Zealand to build and open the Vector Arena in Auckland. It was whilst working with arenas that he conceived a new genre of live entertainment he calls ‘immersion edutainment’ and then came up with the original idea to create a live touring show based on the BBC documentary ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’. Bruce was responsible for successfully launching the show in North America.
